Stains, discoloration, and yellowing can make you feel self-conscious about your appearance. The biggest benefit of teeth whitening from Advanced Dental Center is that you can eliminate these issues and feel great about your smile once again.
With our advanced teeth whitening solutions, you can boost your self-confidence and appreciate your smile. You’ll feel proud and confident when smiling, laughing, speaking, and eating around other people, which can really improve your daily life. Contact us now to see if teeth whitening is right for you.
If you would prefer to spend less time in the dentist’s chair and still get great results, take-home whitening is for you. You’ll come to our office to have molds taken of your teeth, then we’ll make a set of custom-fitted whitening trays that fit into your mouth perfectly.
Then, you’ll simply come to our office to pick up your trays and your whitening products, and to get instructions from our doctors. Over the period of several weeks, you’ll wear your trays as instructed, and you’ll end up with a beautiful, professionally-whitened smile.
In-office whitening is the best option if you want fast results for a special occasion like a wedding or a photoshoot. In this process, our doctors will apply a powerful peroxide to your teeth. Then, we use a special laser light to “activate” the peroxide whitener, enhancing its power and whitening your teeth quickly.
Usually, you can get a smile that’s up to 5-10 shades brighter in just a single appointment. So if you are ready to restore your smile and your self-confidence, contact us now and get the cosmetic care you need in Federal Heights right away.
There are lots of different types of teeth whitening, but they all use the same active ingredients, known as peroxides. The most common types are hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.
Peroxides contain volatile oxygen molecules that have a strong reaction to the presence of stains on your teeth. They cause the bonds holding the stains onto your teeth to snap, “bleaching” the stain away and restoring the natural color of your enamel.
Teeth whitening can make your teeth feel more sensitive for a few days, but this will go away relatively quickly. If your teeth feel sensitive, you can brush more gently and use a toothpaste like Sensodyne. You may also want to avoid very hot or cold foods until the sensitivity goes away.
If your teeth are sensitive before teeth whitening treatment, you should discuss this with us. They may need to adjust the intensity of your treatment to ensure your teeth do not feel overly-sensitive throughout the teeth whitening process.
